And I too was very saddened by Caster's appearance on that magazine cover. It broke my heart that she felt like she had to take an 'Ain't I a Woman" standpoint. I hope that she learns that there is nothing out of the ordinary about her sex; that she is actually very much a part of an already existing community. Most of all, I hope that she continues to outshine those who are trying to break her. I was in total disbelief when I first heard the story. I couldn't even imagine how I would feel if I was approached with such a situation. Then when I heard that she wasn't even aware of what the tests were for, it was even worse. Her appearance on the cover of the magazine broke my heart. No one should have to go through that. Even if there was a question based on the rules of the game, the situation could have and should have been handled more delicately. I feel you on this one.
