Tomorrow: National Day of Protest

Yeah, I’m not quite done with Prop 8 just yet.  Protests are scheduled EVERYWHERE tomorrow.  Want to find one in your area, check here.

Please don’t just sit back and ignore this because it’s “not your issue.”  Civil Rights are everyone’s issue.

Yep. As June Jordan once pointed out, the black community can’t just choose to show up and show out for black rights, we also have to do the same for Queer rights as well. After all, Queerness knows no one nationality so why make a person choose which rights they want to end up with??

It has to stop and I think its about to stop here. The country now sees that we no longer live in an age of “lay down and take it” politics; we fight until the battle is won!
