I did that for my dad on father's day a few years back but he never used my coupons! And lady d, that's adorable... isn't it great when you can totally surprise your parents?! And re: my other grandmother, I ended up finding this old picture of her from when she was in her mid-thirties and she's sitting on a beach with my dad (he was about 5)... I remember one year I flew home from school in time for Mother's Day and told my mom that I had more finals so I wouldn't be home until the next week. I even went as far as to call her that morning (while at my aunts house) and pretended I just woke up. When she came to my aunt's house for breakfast she freaked!! It was great! These are great tips.
